Mokus

UX, UI, product strategy, and pitch deck for an AI-enabled platform that offers businesses on-demand software teams and a process that governs production quality.

Mokus aimed to be a resource to disrupt the dev shop model and bring about a way for developers to communicate effectively with non technical clients and have tasks signed off via a community model.

At its heart were three main elements:

  1. Developer onboarding system and task management

  2. Client requirements system and syntax conversion

  3. QA personnel onboarding and task management

Discovery

Having worked for most of our digital careers building complex products for clients of varying technical competency, we were well-versed in the pitfalls of communication breakdown between clients and developers. Many hours of discovery discussions around what is broken about the current distributed model. From developers passing poor code, to team members not understanding requirements from non-technical clients, to amazing people who just don’t work well together. Could we use natural language processing, could we time tasks, was any of this possible?

NDA Restriction

Due to funding Mokus was parked. However, as we have not yet given up on this startup the scope and details of this product remain under wraps.
